Buddima Farm represents the evolution of modern agriculture, combining traditional wisdom with contemporary technology. What began 40 years ago as a humble, small-scale operation by our Managing Director, Mr. J.M. Jayathilaka, has grown into a leading producer of fresh table eggs and a major contributor to the national poultry industry.
Over the last four decades, we have remained committed to excellence, transforming from a family operation into a large-scale layer farm that powers the local economy and supplies high-quality eggs across the island.

Our core operation is based on a 32-acre facility specifically designed for egg production. It features climate-controlled housing, automated feeding and watering systems, and strict biosecurity measures to ensure the health of our layer flock and the safety of our produce.
